Jason Raymond

Biography

Dr Jason Raymond joined the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University as a Research Fellow in 2015 and was appointed to the Faculty as a Lecturer in 2020. He was a recipient of the F.V. Hunt Fellowship in Acoustics, awarded by the Acoustical Society of America in 2015 and currently serves on several technical committees of the society. He is also a Member of the Institute of Physics Physical Acoustics Committee and was previously a Whitaker International Fellow in Biomedical Engineering at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam.

He holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His work has received support from the EPSRC, Whitaker International Program, Sigma Xi, and the University of Oxford Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division.

Dr. Raymond is a Junior Research Fellow at Kellogg College.
